NOMINATIONS CALLED FOR THE BRIEN COBCROFT MEMORIAL AWARD
Nominations are being called for the Brien Cobcroft Memorial award.  An award which recognises a person or people who have made a major contribution to the NCHA.  Nominations are to be made in writing and should be received at the office by Monday 25th April.

EQUITANA EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST
We are seeking expression of interest for those members who would like to compete at this year’s Equitana Australian Open Cutting Championships. Equitana is held at the Melbourne Showground with the Cutting being on Sunday 20th November. There will be two events, Open and Open NP which is restricted to 10 entries in each class. Members who are interested are asked to contact the NCHA office to register their interest in attending. Thank you.

PREWORKS/PRACTISE THIS WEEKEND
Preworks/Practise weekend.  This weekend, 9th and 10th April at Nowendoc for both Futurity and Aged Horses.  Bookings close Wednesday for cattle numbers.  Free BBQ on Saturday night BYOG and a salad.  Please call Nadean on 02 67 771116 to register.  All welcome.


National Cutting Horse Association

The NCHA has 53 affiliates that conduct shows, practice days and clinics throughout Australia. All levels of competition (including youth classes) are catered for with over 200 shows throughout Australia. These shows occur in Brisbane, Melbourne and at Sydney Royals and culminates with the NCHA National Finals in Tamworth, New South Wales. High Point Awards are highly prized and competitors travel many kilometres to achieve success.

The showcase of Cutting is the NCHA Futurity held every May/June in Tamworth. The Futurity has grown into the richest three year old performance horse event in the Southern Hemisphere. It incorporates the best cutting seen anywhere, the largest country/western rural trade display outside the metropolitan areas, restaurants, bars, big screen, live country music entertainers, and the NCHA Select Cutting Horse Sale which auctions some of the best bred performance horses in Australia.
