VALE COL JAEGAR
It is with great sadness that we advise of the passing of Col Jaegar in the early hours of Friday morning. As his daughter Bec told us, ”This legend of a man passed on the same day as another couple of legends, Rod Marsh and Shane Warne and left us just 6 days shy of his 81st birthday and 2 days short of his 57th wedding anniversary”.
Col is survived by his wife Wendy and daughters Rebecca and Kylie and grand-daughter Charlize. He was brother to Carol and Paul and the late Raymond.
FUNERAL POSTPONED
The Jaeger family have advised that the funeral for Col will be postponed. A new date will be set and we’ll advise everyone as soon as we know. In the interim the family have requested no flowers but instead have asked for donations to the Phoenix Foundation of which Col was a Director and the Department Head of the Animal Sanctuary, Horse Trials and Stables www.2bucktuesday.com (click on the pledge button).
R.I.P Col Jaeger, you will be very sadly missed.
Col is pictured here with ‘Dolly’, foaled down in 2020 and named after his very first horse that he used to ride to school!
